After 8pm, I was able to get 5 free drinks and enjoyed the live singing entertainment from the talented Mike Ross. The French onion soup was delicious and was very hearty. The amount of cheese sitting on top of the soup when it first arrived was perfect. The soup was rich in flavours and had the perfect consistency throughout. Panko breading is so popular with me and I use it all the time when I make breaded dishes at home, so I was happy to see panko breaded prawns here and I just had to try it. The breaded batter was crunchy and was not too thick or too thin. The prawns were delicious and I did not see anything wrong with this dish at all. The super food salad was so vibrant and colourful which made it that much more appealing. I loved the carrots, pomegranate, pumpkin seeds, broccoli, quinoa, and the chia seeds as it made this salad crunchy. I ate this salad without any dressing on it just fine because of all the different flavours from the fresh vegetables. The risotto was just perfect here. The rice was soft and cooked beautifully. The risotto was creamy and the pea and feta cheese made it even better. Finally, I was impressed with both of the dessert dishes that I had. The apple crumble was so good, and the cinnamon balanced the sweetness of the dish nicely. I loved the caramelized apples and it was my favourite part of the dessert. The sticky toffee pudding was unique as it was made out of dates so the flavours were different and scrumptious. This restaurant deserves a rating of 4/5. I ordered the french onion soup for 40DHS, panko breaded prawns for 85DHS, super food salad for 64DHS, pea & feta risotto for 64DHS,traditional apple & cinnamon crumble for 35DHS, and the sticky toffee pudding for 35DHS. The pricing of the dishes here are great for the portion sizes and quality of food. The service was amazing from the assistant manager, Joseph, who worked hard to make sure our dining experience was superb. We even asked for tasting sizes only since we got invited but he refused as he stated that the pictures will not be complete, so he brought out all full sizes. The only thing that was forgotten was the water we asked for, which didn’t come to the table until we were almost finished with dinner. The ambience of this restaurant was hip and very green to go with the Irish theme. The entertainment area was behind the bar on a stage so you are able to view them from almost every part of the restaurant. ...Read full post on xotina143.com
