Workout at Burj Park Boot Camp
It’s becoming the time of the year where everybody starts putting in extra hours at the gym, starts skipping a few extra biscuits with their cup of tea and starts opting for low-fat soy milk lattes when popping into Starbucks. It’s officially the season where we all strive to get our summer bodies prepped for some time on the beach, getting into some water sports and having a smashing time and, thankfully, there’s now a fantastic boot camp workout at Burj Park.
While you’re in Downtown Dubai, you might want to look at some of the great hotels near the Burj Khalifa.
Exercising outside is one of the most beneficial and empowering things you can do. Standing with the wind blowing on your face, the real Earth beneath your feet and open air above your head you can sometimes feel like you can do absolutely anything and it’s usually a much more comfortable environment than being in a gym that’s always either too hot or too cold, with AC blowing directly into your eyeballs and making it feel like you need to invest into an entire bathtub of eye drops just to regain some of the moisture you’re losing, don’t you think?
Well, if you’re like me and prefer to get your sweat on in public, the Boot Camp at Burj Park is designed to get your heart racing, your body temperature soaring, your blood pumping and your muscles toning.
These fantastic classes are taking place right in front of one of the most iconic buildings in the world, the Burj Khalifa, and you’ll be within walking distance of The Dubai Mall (if you can walk afterwards) where you can treat yourself to a pretty healthy lunch or some snazzy new workout gear. Each class will have a focus on cardio, building up a strong and healthy heart and trimming down fat, strength training, toning your muscles and creating a solid core and stretching, giving you an opportunity to relax and increase your flexibility.
Each session will take place for around 45 minutes and will be set up with an importance on variety so that you’ll get a complete full body workout done by attending each session. No two sessions are designed to be the same so it’ll never be boring and by not letting your body fall into a routine you increase the chance of building a solid base of fitness.
Timing and Location
The sessions will be taking place twice a week on every Sunday and Wednesday from 6:30 PM, ending around 7:15 PM.
Of course, they’re taking place at Burj Park in Downtown Dubai, where you’ll also be treated to a spectacular showing of the Dubai Fountains and, if you’re lucky, you might catch one of the brand new laser light shows on the Burj Khalifa.
Each session will cost you around 75 AED (£14.50), which is an amazing value price for what you’re getting and the class sizes are limited to 15 people per session, so you won’t be drowned out or forgotten either.
