Valentine’s Day Treats: New Restaurants in Dubai

What would Dubai be if there wasn’t an almost weekly offering of brand new restaurants in Dubai to try out?  It seems like there’s always somewhere brand new with a unique and signature flavour to add to our already quite sizeable choices of restaurants but we’re not going to complain.  We love finding new places to eat, trying out new dishes and seeing if we can create a new favourite and what better activity for a couple, or hopeful couple, to share on Valentine’s Day than eating delicious food?

While we’re on the subject of new favourites, find your new favourite romantic hotel in Dubai just in time for Valentine’s Day.

Crazy Fish

What it is:  This will be their second restaurant, with the first being in Monte Carlo opened up last year, this fresh seafood restaurant has some of the absolute best seafood you can find in Dubai.  A lot of their dishes are gently seasoned, as not to overpower the natural flavours of the fish and with the ability to choose your own fish from the fresh dish display, there’s not much more that you can do to guarantee freshness and quality.  Delicious Mediterranean food at a brand new location.

Where to go:  Crash Fish at Al Fattan Currency house in DIFC.

When to go:  Open from Sunday to Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 1:00 AM and then Thursdays and Fridays from 6:00 PM until 2:00 AM.

The Blacksmith

What it is:  If you’re a fan of prime cuts of beef, perfectly roasted ribs and a delicious smokey taste, the Blacksmith smokehouse might just become your new favourite place in the entire world.  Inspired by the deep southern tastes of the United States of America, you’ll get authentic food served in incredible portions.  Not really for vegetarians, though.

Where to go:  The Blacksmith at the Wyndham Dubai Marina.

When to go:  Go down from Saturday to Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 2:00 AM and then on Thursday and Friday from 5:00 PM until 3:00 AM.

21 Grams

What it is:  This fantastic brand new place is already beginning to make quite a stir with their comfortable seating area and fantastic view of Umm Suqeim Park.  Delicious food with this Balkan style bistro and an incredible atmosphere and signature baklava desserts.

Where to go:  You’ll want to visit 21 Grams on Jumeirah Beach Road.

When to go:  Head over any day of the week from 7:00 AM until 11:30 PM.
