New Attractions in the United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates is one of those countries that never stops growing and expanding and, luckily, their need to create brand new attractions just means that we all have plenty of fantastic things to see and do.  It’s going to be a busy year, we think.

If you’re looking to visit the United Arab Emirates and Dubai, we’d recommend looking for a cheap hotel in Dubai and then checking out some of these great new attractions in the UAE.

Visit the World’s Largest Picture Frame

Dubai’s latest and greatest addition, the world’s largest picture frame, has finally opened to the public and gives you the opportunity to have one of the most unique experiences you can get in the whole world.  This iconic landmark is located in Zabeel Park and features two 150 metre tall towers connected by a 93 metre long glass bottomed Sky Bridge.  Take the elevator to the top and then cross the sky bridge to see Dubai like you’ve never seen it before.

Tickets cost 50 AED (£10) for adults and 20 AED (£4) for children.

The Louvre Abu Dhabi

Although it’s not actually in Dubai, it’s only a short drive from Dubai and it’s such an amazing opportunity we can’t help but add it.  The Louvre Abu Dhabi opened up in November and offers some of the best artwork in the world, currently loaning out more than half of its current stock from 13 different museums in France.

The Louvre Abu Dhabi costs 60 AED (£12) for adults and 30 AED (£6) for children aged 13 to 22.  Children under the age of 13 go free.

Dubai’s La Mer

One of the newest additions to the coast of Dubai, La Mer, is currently offering up a fantastic choice spot of beachfront where you can get some delicious food, fantastic drinks and even get some of your shopping done.  With more coming in the very near future, La Mer is going to be one of the biggest Dubai hotspots of the year.

Get a sneak peak of an up and coming area in Dubai

Al Seef, one of Dubai’s newest cultural districts, has opened up recently right near the Dubai Creek and it offers everything you’d expect from a brand new area of Dubai.  You can shop, eat, drink and be entertained while you’re visiting Al Seef.  Although it’s still just new and there are only a few places available, Al Seef will soon be home to more than 500 retail units, restaurants (of the floating variety as well as your typical terra firma places) and a proper Arabian souk.  Right now you can eat at Mamikonian, The Brass Coffee & Community and Bellamia Gelato.  Soon more places will pop open so keep an eye on Al Seef, you’ll be hearing a lot about it.
