New Adventures to be had in Dubai

It’s tricky to not have an adventure in Dubai, sometimes even a simple easy night out can lead to several mini adventures and the next day you end up scrolling through your phone trying to remember exactly how you all ended up on a midnight dhow cruise when you only went to TGIFridays.

However, sometimes it’s nice to have a well thought out and organised adventure where you can do something you never thought you’d do before or something you’ve always wanted to do while you’re in Dubai.  So, get your cheap hotel in Dubai booked if you haven’t already and then start planning some adventures.

Enjoy the World’s Longest Urban Zipline with XLine Dubai

If you’re the kind of person who enjoys flying through the air at incredible heights while supported only by a thin zip line, well, you’re the perfect person for the XLine Dubai Marina Zipline.  This 1km long zip line stretches from a skyscraper to the Dubai Marina Mall and offers speeds of up to 80kmh.  This incredible experience can be shared with a friend with their double zip line, so you can hear each other scream.

The XLine Dubai Zip Line costs around 650 AED (£131) for one person to fly and 1,200 AED (£241) for two.

Enjoy the New Dubai Safari

This one has been in the works for so long and we’re so excited that its finally open.  The Dubai Safari will only grow with time and offers some of the best nature experiences you can get in Dubai.  With more than 2,000 animals roaming around the safari, the world’s very first ever drive through crocodile exhibit, the UAE’s biggest aviary exhibit and the UAE’s only drive through hippo and tiger exhibit, there’s something for everyone at the Dubai Safari.

Tickets for the Dubai Safari range from 20 AED (£4) to 85 AED (£16).  Children under three go free.

Get a unique perspective on the Dubai Fountains

One of our absolute favourite ways to spend an evening and the very first thing we show visitors is the Dubai Fountains outside the Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa.  Usually, we’ll sit down at a restaurant with a good view and watch the shows all night long.  However, the brand new Dubai Fountain Boardwalk offers one of the best vantage points for the Dubai Fountains ever.

The reason is because the Dubai Fountain Boardwalk is a 272 metre long viewing platform that lets you get as close as 9 metres to the actual fountains.  This fantastic new vantage point means the Dubai Fountains take on a whole new level of meaning.

The Dubai Fountain Boardwalk costs around 20 AED (£4) per person.

Dubai Garden Glow’s Ice Park

A pretty cool new attraction considering it’s in the middle of the desert, the new Ice Park at Dubai Garden Glow offers a fantastic frozen winter wonderland where you can see some amazing and creative ice sculptures.

Access to Dubai Garden Glow costs 60 AED (£12) and then another 40 AED (£8) for the ice park.
