Dubai’s Skate Parks

Believe it or not, Dubai has a pretty healthy skating subculture and there are some pretty good skate parks here in Dubai.  Whether it’s for kids who are hoping to learn to skate, intermediaries honing their skills or experts working to perfect their style, there’s something for everybody to enjoy at some of these amazing skate parks in Dubai.

If you enjoy skating, skateboarding or some of the other extreme sports, it might just be time to book a cheap hotel in Dubai so you can hit these fantastic skate parks.

Business Bay Skate Park

What it is:  Business Bay Skate Park is an open-air all concrete skate park.  Although it is quite small, you can definitely get a few impressive runs around this skate park.  There are ledges, rails and some incredibly impressive views of the Burj Khalifa.

There are no pro shops on site and this is an outdoor skate park so it might not be the best during the summer months but, luckily, there are lights for night-time riding.

Where it is:  Al Amal Street in Business Bay.

When to go:  This skate park is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How much it is:  Entry is completely free.

The Bunker Skate Park

What it is:  The Bunker was a creation between SkateDXB and Rage Sports when they decided to create the best indoor skate park they could at the Dubai Sports World.  This was running throughout 2017 but we hope it will be making a comeback in 2018 as the introduction of skating is an amazing way for kids, teenagers and adults to add in some more fitness into their lives.

Where it is:  The Bunker was at the Dubai World Trade Centre on Sheikh Zayed Road.

When to go:  The Bunker was open during the summer of 2017 but we hope it will make a comeback in 2018.

How much it is:  The Bunker Skate Park was ticketed at 50 AED (£10) per day or a season pass for 500 AED (£100) for an all access pass.

XDubai Skate Park

What it is:  This relatively new skate park in Dubai, created by XDubai, was a park created by skaters for skaters.  XDubai Skate Park is known for being the largest multi-faceted facility in the entire United Arab Emirates and can accommodate beginners to professionals, no matter your skill level you’ll find somewhere to shine at XDubai Skate Park.

The park features:
