Dubai Mall Just Got Even Bigger: Fashion Avenue Extension
Dubai Mall is one of the biggest and best shopping destinations in Dubai and has been rocking that title for the last 10 years, however, it’s just gotten a little bit bigger with the addition of a brand new extension that’s been undergoing work for quite some time. The new extension for Fashion Avenue will bring a whole new aesthetic to this part of Dubai Mall with a very different aesthetic.

Dubai Mall has stood for over ten years as one of the biggest and best shopping destinations not only in Dubai but across the world. People travel thousands of miles to walk through Dubai Mall’s hallways and shop at some of the retail units that are housed within, and now there’s even more choice.
Dubai Mall has expanded the luxury retail unit, Fashion Avenue, into an incredible, new and well-designed extension to the already impressive choice of retail units at Dubai Mall. The brand new expansion will give Dubai Mall the chance to open its doors to more than 150 new luxury brands.
The new extension will house Gucci, Mikimoto, Dolce & Gabana, Hermes, Rolex, Cartier and more as well as a number of luxury food and beverages choices and, of course, Starbucks.
The brand new design and aesthetic of the new Fashion Avenue extension is quite striking, at first. I entered through the Fashion Avenue parking and thought, for a moment, that I’d somehow managed to drive to the wrong mall. Sleek new white light designs, amazing architecture, open walkways and artistic installations throughout the new Fashion Avenue extension bring a whole new life to Dubai Mall.
Entering through the Mall into the new Fashion Avenue extension is achieved via a huge lit up archway inside the, ‘old,’ Fashion Avenue, opposite the Armani Café.
