Best Places to Enjoy the Burj Al Arab’s New Years Eve Fireworks
Roll on December 31st, we can’t wait to welcome in the New Year with some of the fantastic parties and celebrations going on around Dubai and the United Arab Emirates. Take advantage of some of the great deals on cheap hotels in Dubai to really get up close and personal with the action.
There are plenty of great things going on around the city for New Year’s Eve and one of them is going to be a huge major firework display at the iconic and world famous most luxurious hotel in the world, the Burj Al Arab. Now, the Burj Al Arab very well may just be one of the most expensive hotels in Dubai but that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on this amazing firework display, there are a few great places around the city that will give you prime access to the firework display without paying a premium price. That sounds like our kind of New Year’s Eve celebration!
Of course, we definitely recommend following it up with some of the great New Year’s Eve parties going on in Dubai and, trust us, there’s an awful lot to choose from, you might just be spoiled for choice.
If the aim of the game is to spend as little as possible, which is usually not just our game but our mission, finding a nice spot on Kite Beach in preparation of the Burj Al Arab’s signature firework display might just be the best idea we’ve had all year. Bring along a few snacks in a picnic basket, a cooler with something to wash it all down. There’s a lovely bunch of cafes available on Kite Beach so you can choose to get something while you’re there, if you prefer, but if you’re looking for a nice, comfortable and cheap option, fireworks and a picnic on the beach sounds pretty good.
Black Palace Beach
One of the few hidden gems around Dubai, this secret beach isn’t very well known and is one of the nicest and most relaxing stretches of beach in Dubai. Right behind Knowledge Village, you’ll have premium access to the Burj Al Arab’s firework display and, actually, you’d even be able to see the display at Atlantis, too. Perfect for a beach picnic on a nice quiet and untouched beach.
Souk Madinat Jumeirah
This modernised version of the traditional Arabian marketplace is one of the best hotspots in Dubai if you’re looking for a great choice of traditional commodities being bought and sold mixed in with some fantastic restaurants and cafes. Souk Madinat in Jumeirah might just be one of the best places to watch the Burj Al Arab’s firework display while relaxing and sitting down to enjoy a New Year’s Eve meal.
Although you can access Souk Madinat for free, you’ll probably need to make bookings at the restaurants because they’re guaranteed to be quite busy but the atmosphere will be great.
