1) Jumeirah Golf Estates Courses
It’s a double-whammy here. Jumeirah Golf Estates is actually two golf courses. You have the Earth and Fire course, designed by Greg Norman.
The Earth Course is the venue for the DP World Tour Championship and is inspired by parkland courses across Europe and North America. Surrounded by nature, you’ll have no problem focusing as you tee off.
The Fire Course presents a slightly more challenging course, with topography designed to make you think long and hard about which route you’ll take to the hole. The Fire course makes you think and promotes links-style play you’ll never forget.
You can book a guest tee-time at either the Fire or Earth course for as little as 225 AED (£45) for 9 holes or go for the full 18 holes for 325 AED (£65 during the summer season).
2) Emirates Golf Clubs
Again, a two-fer, Emirates Golf Clubs offers two courses.
The Majlis Course, a tricky par 72, 18 hole course, winner of multiple awards and renowned for it’s challenging par 4 8th hole, a literal uphill struggle that requires precision and power.
Then there’s the Faldo course, opened in 1996 and redesigned by Nick Faldo in 2005, a beauty of a course that will provide an enjoyable golfing experience for everybody. Another par 72, it is regarded as one of the finest golf courses in Dubai.
3) Arabian Ranches Golf Course
Playing up to 7,658 yards, this 18 hole par 72 course was designed by Ian Baker-Finch with Nicklaus Design, Arabian Ranches Golf Course is designed to play like you’re moving through the desert itself.
With beautiful sand dunes and a breathtaking landscape, you’ll never forget your time at Arabian Ranches Golf Course.

4) The Address Montgomerie Dubai
A resort surrounded by its 256 acre golf course, The Address Montgomerie Dubai offers a luxurious 18-hole course and golf school, for those who are new to the sport or wish to have a refresher. The Address Montgomerie boasts of 143 acres of turf, 49 acres of lakes, 93 acres of gardens and 81 large bunkers for you to play with.
The par 54th hole is named, ‘The Snake Hole,’ for its snaking fairway and two snake-eye bunkers.
The price for booking a tee time at The Montgomerie is based on demand and availability but you can sometimes book a time for as low as 375 AED (£74) if you time it just right.
5) The Els Club
Located in Dubai Sports City, is a tricky 7,538 yard course designed by, ‘The Big Easy,’ Ernie Els. This course offers four sets of tees so you can have the most comfortable experience for your own style. With elevation changes, wide fairways with native grass and vegetation create a solid links-style course that requires your focus and skill.
Again, The Els Club uses dynamic pricing with prices as low as 345 AED (£69).
